Local Area Information - Woodinville

Woodinville is located in the Sammamish Valley, about 20 miles north of Seattle. A city of 10,000, with an additional 40,000 residing outside the city limits, Woodinville is known for its easy access to Interstate 405 and Highway 522. It is a highly sought-after community which boasts excellent public schools--the Northshore School District--and a rural feel, while still remaining close to the Eastside's hi-tech corridor, which includes such corporate giants as Redmond's Microsoft.

Woodinville is one of the fastest growing communities on the Eastside. Since the early 80s, when grass fields dotted downtown, it has rapidly grown in population and construction--both residential and commercial. The city, incorporated in March of 1993, is now a large draw for tourists with its many wineries and breweries, as well as downtown Molbaks Greenhouse, which alone attracts over one million visitors each year.

In and around this fertile valley, first settled in the early 1870s, you will find lakefront property, equestrian property, and view property looking out over the Olympic Mountains to the west, Cascade Mountains to the east, and Mt. Rainier to the south.
