Local Area Information - North Bend

North Bend is located off Interstate 90, a little over a half-hour from downtown Seattle. Also known as gateway to the Cascade Mountains, North Bend is one of the last stops before Snoqualmie Pass on Interstate 90. Nearby Little Si and larger Mount Si provide opportunities for hiking and rock climbing. Because of its mountainous setting, North Bend provides a number of different alpine sports.

North Bend also straddles the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River and is one of the chief agricultural areas for the upper Snoqualmie Valley. You may recognize North Bend from the popular former television series "Twin Peaks," which was filmed in both North Bend, and in nearby Snoqualmie.
