Local Area Information - Bothell

Bothell is located at the north end of Lake Washington at the crossroads of State Highways 522 and 527, and Interstate 405. Residents may commute from Bothell to either Seattle or Everett, both of which are 20 minutes away.

Here in Bothell you will find hills and wooded areas, and the Sammamish Valley Slough to the south which meanders its way into the north end of Lake Washington. Bothell Landing, a public park and mix of restaurants and shops along the Sammamish Valley Slough, is a popular gathering place on sunny days. The Sammamish River Trail, which runs along the Slough from Redmond and Woodinville, connects with the Burke-Gilman Trail and meets up with Seattle's Gas Works Park. Here people can bike, jog, or roller blade along the Slough and shores of Lake Washington.
